Dr Amal Al Shunnar
Dr Shunnar, throughout her career in the UK and Dublin, worked in tertiary referral hospitals at a senior level gaining vast experience in high risk Obstetrics and Gynecology. As well, she covered high risk Feto maternal clinic, Urogynecology, Colposcopy, Menopause and Infertility clinics.She has been now working in Dubai since 1999 in a clinic which averages up to 100 patients per day. She has performed endoscopic and open cases on a variety of obstetric and gynecological cases and has a good reputation as a doctor in the Community.
She speaks English and Arabic fluently and Urdu. In the UK, She was the representative of the overseas doctors for the Mersey Region, and, in Dubai she was the UAE representative of the RCOG Committee.
Educational Background
Dr Amal Al Shunnar graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1991 and since, she has worked and trained in one of the most prestigious hospitals in Dublin and in England such as Rotunda Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital. She began her training in endoscopic surgery in 1992 and attained eligibility in certification in Advanced Gynecological endoscopy. Back
